“My main concern when I arrived here in Argentina was to improve my speaking skills. Despite I had 6 month Spanish course at my University in Germany, I wasn´t able to speak Spanish with confidence…In January I  got CEDIC after visiting some other Spanish Schools in BA. I was impressed as the first time I was greeted “in Spanish language”. Despite the teacher who welcomed me could speak perfect English and Germany -as I discovered later- she made an effort to make me speak in Spanish by asking to me simple questions and patiently waiting for me to answer. All my nerves disappeared and sipping an iced tea, I found myself “speaking” in Spanish! I was happy because I knew that this time I would not start learning Spanish from zero again, but rather the teachers would try to make me remember what I had studied. Great methodology.”  Christopher, from Germany. January 2014.

“I had previously taken Spanish classes in different countries of South America and in Spain. What is distinctive here is that while teachers can speak perfect English, always motivate you, push you and give you the opportunity to speak in Spanish. Every time I wanted to do things easily and try to use English to speak, they used to say “En Español… por favor :)”  Eva, from Denmark. April 2014.

“Just because it´s an excellent school with highly motivated and enthusiastic teachers.”  Marie, from Austria. April 2014

“I really forgot why I chose CEDIC. Was it for their sincere “Como estas ?”, their personal approach or their gorgeous “empanadas” I first tried at the School in a special class on Argentinean food… :-) I only remember I felt immediately at home. Thank you Cedic !!!!!” Kris, from Belgium. June 2014

“At my arrival in Buenos Aires I had some problems with my lodging, which I had reserved from home. I was really upset but I was lucky to meet the people of CEDIC School. They offered a helping hand to solve up my issue, so I ended up in the house of a lovely Argentinean family.”   Andrea, from Suitzerland. August 2014

“Sometimes it may be hard for a visitor  to make new friends.
Thanks to the social activities organized by CEDIC (restaurant, dancing, football, …) I got in touch with a bunch of nice friends.”
Michael, Australia. August 2014

“The central location in the “micro centro” attracted me immediately; Near shops, restaurants and in the middle of the touristic center. An excellent starting point to get to know this marvelous city.”    Joaquín, from Brasil. September 2014

“During my first interview where I met one of the teachers of CEDIC I was impressed with the library and asked if I could see some of the books. Professor told me that CEDIC was a family, and since that time I was part of it, so could not only read books in school but could also take books home! I loved the warmth and trust with everyone here treat students and teachers. As Italian, that personal touch fascinated me! Since then, CEDIC is my school and my home!”    Adriano, Italy September 2014.

“Here students and we teachers can meet the School owners; you can talk to them and see their faces and can laugh with them! Believe it or not, this does not happen in other schools where I have worked. The teachers here are encouraged to make students speak in Spanish. If students have previously taken Spanish classes, we do not make them study all over again. We do a quick and productive review to keep going. We know that for students to take classes, pay for a course, and travel to another country, this implies an effort from every point of view. Definitely here you will not waste a minute of precious time.”  Profesora Vero, Teacher of CEDIC Spanish School in Buenos Aires.

“All staff members are highly qualified, very experienced Spanish instructors and well aware, not only of the different necessities but also of the diverse ways in which students like to be taught.  We are all treated very respectfully and given freedom to best perform our job.”  Prof. Lidia, Teacher of CEDIC Spanish School in Buenos Aires.

“Since I am not a fast languages learner, I was looking for  a teacher  who will be 100% focused on my needs. I choose private lessons for my first 2 weeks here at the School. That helped my to build up confidence to continue with a group class.”  Tom from UK. October 2014.

Muchas gracias gente! :-)

In 2013 I went to Buenos Aires. To refresh my Spanish before my three month trip through South America in short, I have taken 40 days CEDIC private lessons at the Spanish School.

It gave me very, very much. Although I had studied Spanish in Guatemala and Mexico and Argentina in the language is a bit different so I could benefit a lot and was thanks to the super-teachers (on a VM and the other at NM) very quickly there. In addition to the lessons they have also helped me with many insider tips for my BA and subsequent onward journey through the rest of Argentina.

All the people at CEDIC are very accommodating and super nice. I can really recommend the school. Judith of the administration I would like to specifically mention. She is a treasure. Since I myself have booked directly, I had to do with her. I pestered them with questions and concerns. It has me great advice and support! Organization, suggestions on how I’m doing it the best (Refresh, Check on site, onward travel), accommodation in a family where I really liked it, right in the offer and booked etc.

All at a good price-performance ratio. Even after I became even more well looked after. A month ago (almost a year later) I needed afterwards a few receipts and other documents. These were sent to me immediately. Muchas gracias gente! :-)”

2013, Dennis, from Germany (English translation below).

When I came to Buenos Aires in 2013, my level of Spanish was more at the beginner level. I learned 4 semesters of Spanish in college, but that was quite a while ago. Accordingly, the pent-up demand was high when I started at the UCA for two semesters of study. I did not do at the university directly, but externally the course at a language school. The UCA was then recommended me CEDIC.

I was greeted warmly and did not feel to be completed in a “school” a course. The groups were very small, which has helped tremendously to take on individual needs into consideration. My language level rose quickly, thanks to well-structured exercises and a relaxed atmosphere. Judith has always come to meet me, when I had to change something new date. It was very simple to make appointments.

The teaching itself consisted mainly of a lot of cooperation, which has proved to be extremely helpful. Instead of getting crammed like school teachers’ vocabulary and grammar, we were introduced slowly but surely through exercises and interactive discussions on the matter. Time for talks on outings, bars nights and “Scherzer land” is always about experiences and is also written in high CEDIC.

I recommend this school to anyone who wants to learn quickly and effectively and still looking for a relaxed atmosphere and typical Argentine. The prices are low in comparison with other schools, as group lessons passed on to me from a maximum of 4 people, which is more like a private lesson as group lessons.”

I would say take the course at CEDIC was a great choice. The facilities and location are very good and the teachers wonderful, especially Milton. The support of the administration of the course, done by Judith, was crucial that everything would go perfect in Buenos Aires. I did three weeks of travel and my enjoyment was phenomenal. Made dear friends through the classes and activities extra classes. Without CEDIC my trip to Buenos Aires would not have been so wonderful.

Kisses to all. Miss you! Hope to return soon to this beautiful city and perhaps improve my Spanish with new classes in CEDIC.

Nauka w CEDIC to przyjemność.

No i pozostał ten akcent… 😉
Gorąco polecam!

Learning in CEDIC was a pleasure. The School is located in the heart of Buenos Aires, teachers conduct classes in a light, entertaining and varied. There is here relaxed, casual atmosphere and the groups are small are counted a few people. A big plus is also flexible, you can customize lessons to suit your needs, even during the course. The school seeks to familiarize students with the culture of Argentina, from time to time organizes informal meetings after school, you can make an appointment for a restaurant or a beer with your teacher;)

Before I came to Buenos Aires, I did not know at all Spanish. Month intensive language course in CEDIC from scratch (4 hours per day) allowed me to quickly master the language at a conversational level and gain a solid foundation in Spanish. The following months traveling through South and Central America showed that the course was CEDIC look no further, not only was I able to get along everywhere but got conversational fluency in the language. Well, remained the accent … 😉   I highly recommend it!

My main concern when I arrived here in Argentina was to improve my speaking skills. Despite I had 6 month Spanish course at my University in Germany, I wasn´t able to speak Spanish with confidence…In January I  got CEDIC after visiting some other Spanish Schools in BA. " Professors were focusing on the oral practice. It is very good for us to speak more and to improve our communication skills. They have patience. We just browse in the website and the previous comments are quite good. To pay the fees weekly also can motivate us to try at the beginning. Judith is so helpful to answer all our questions , you can ask all you don´t understand about Argentina :o) .
